Explain to them that a rating of one star can be damaging, especially to newer workers. A rating of five stars can be beneficial, increasing or maintaining an excellent worker rating.

Being late to a shift happens to all of us, so although Schedulehead does take it into account, it won't destroy a workers rating over it. Not showing up for a shift however, can have a more noticeable effect. Make sure that your workers understand that they will be held accountable for their performance and should act accordingly.
