Once your account is up and running and you've had a chance to get through a few shifts, you will likely have seen and read some of your worker reviews. You also probably noticed the three components to the review process: The star rating, the late/ no show buttons, and the worker comments.
In order for Schedulehead to work at its most efficient, make sure that whomever rates your worker does it honestly and thoughtfully. Explain to them that a rating of one star can be damaging, especially to newer workers. A rating of five stars can be beneficial, increasing or maintaining an excellent worker rating.
Late/ No show:
Being late to a shift happens to all of us, so although Schedulehead does take it into account, it won't destroy a workers rating over it. Not showing up for a shift however, can have a more noticeable effect. Make sure that your workers understand that they will be held accountable for their performance and should act accordingly.
One of the most unique and helpful tools that Schedulehead has to offer your company, is the instant feedback that is available to the employees and the managers. Comments serve not only to inform you about your employees, but also, help them do a better job. In the workplace, quality feedback is key, and utilizing this tool makes your business a more efficient being. This tool is extremely helpful, it can even replace those pesky annual reviews.
These will help increase your workers star rating. More stars = more shifts = happy employees = that's a good thing!
will follow your workers around (especially new ones) like a bad credit score. they require hard work and dedication to overcome. But they can be overcome.
