Time off requests are relatively straightforward. Here are some quick details on them:
- A worker can create, modify, and delete time off requests.
- The admin can choose to ignore or override them.
- Worker will not see available shifts that conflict with their submitted time off request.
Worker Creating Time Off Request
A worker can create a time off request with the link at the bottom of their start screen.
Once they follow the link, they will arrive at the screen below. Here they can add, modify, and delete time off requests. If you masquerade as this worker, you can also do the same thing for them. Future implementations will allows you access to this easier, as well as, an optional approval system for time off requests.

Deleting the time off request is done by clicking on the delete button and confirming from the modify dialog of a time off request.
Approved Worker Time Off Request in Grid View
Time off requests are shown with a gray box like shown below. These boxes can also show when there is a time conflict with another shift. These conflicts do not show at the top. Only conflicts between assigned shifts show at the top.
When you click on the box this dialog box will pop up giving additional information. In the future, you will be able to modify and delete time off requests from here.
Approved Worker Time Off Request in List View
A worker that has a time off conflict will still show up in the dropdown of workers. There will be a message that tells you if there are any time off conflicts. This is shown below.
Worker Time Off Request and Available Shifts
Workers will not see shifts and will not receive Autotexts for shifts that conflict with their time off requests whether approved or just submitted.
